INSTRUCTOR, University of Texas Extension Correspondence Program (1987-2001). Developed curriculum, wrote several 80-120-page study guides, and graded lessons for college-level correspondence courses in literature and composition. Implemented use of the Internet and created content of first web-based course (English 376L "American Science Fiction") which won a Site of the Week Award by the Chronicle of Higher Education, as well as the Region 3 "Teacher of the Year Award "of the Continuing Education Association.
